Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across stores within a defined geographic area in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and delivering pharmacy services, while building great relationships with patients and listening to their needs.

This role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent), the ability to travel across defined geography with flexibility, and a valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and processing prescriptions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to deliver store pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay updated with new innovations in store and comply with processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medicine management to promote adherence.
