Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across stores in a defined geographic area. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients to ensure safe, effective pharmacy services.

This UK-based role requires travel across locations, NVQ2 qualification, and valid UK work rights. Training and career progression are available, with benefits and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and handling of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients in managing their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with store teams to ensure continuity of care.

Education
