Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across Boots stores within a defined UK geography. You will support pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients to ensure safe, effective care in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

The role is UK-based and requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or equivalent), travel across locations, and valid UK right to work. Salary is hourly with range £13.92–£16.64, and benefits include discounts and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and endorsing prescriptions.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions with reliable repeats and promote adherence.
• Communicate with store teams to ensure continuity of care.
