Job summary
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Administration professional to support procurement of medicines and professional administration across multiple hospital sites, including North Tyneside General Hospital, Wansbeck and Hexham. You will ensure timely invoice processing and accurate stock control, while providing clerical support to the Pharmacy team and managers.
The role requires GCSEs, IT skills and NVQs in Business Administration and Customer Service, plus
Qualifications
- GCSE C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- ECDL IT skills or equivalent.
- NVQ 2/3 in Business & Administration.
- NVQ 2/3 in Customer Service.
- CIPS level 2 or above.
- Knowledge and experience of ordering, invoicing, business and office procedures.
- Experience of computer stock control systems.
Responsibilities
- Procurement of medicines.
- Invoice processing and payment processing.
- Management of medicine supply issues.
- Provide clerical support to Pharmacy managers; report production; data input; meetings.
- Additional duties as required.
