Job summary

The role combines managing pharmacy IT systems (Optum, ARX, Powergate), medicines governance, and service development across the Trust, with line management of a small procurement team while maintaining practising pharmacy technician duties.

Qualifications

• BTEC in pharmaceutical science or NVQ Level 3 with underpinning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Pharmacy Procurement team with safe provision of medicines.
• Provide clinical and IT system support to staff and patients.
• Develop and manage Pharmacy IT systems (Optum, ARX interface, Powergate) to aid decision-making.
• Support medicines homecare services across the Trust.
• Manage KPI reporting and data management to improve efficiency and patient safety.
• Provide pharmacy technical support and advice as required.
