Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) in Leicester.

The role involves delivering high-quality medicines management, supporting safe patient care across Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Community Health settings, and working within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be registered with the GPhC and have hospital experience.

Formación

• GPhC registration is required.
• Hospital experience within a pharmacy setting is essential.
• Organised, initiative-taking with strong communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Dispensing inpatient, outpatient, clinical trial, and controlled drug prescriptions in line with SOPs.
• Use pharmacy systems to generate labels and manage stock issues, receipts, and transfers.
• Support medicines management services including reconciliations and patient drug histories.
• Participate in the clozapine service.
• Undertake accuracy checking within a technician-led dispensary.
• Support patient counselling and promote medicines adherence.
• Assist wards with the Trust’s ePrescribing system.
• Contribute to the smooth running of dispensary workflow and escalate queries as needed.
