Job summary

Kamsons Pharmacy is recruiting for a Brighton Carden Hill Trainee Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with prescriptions and OTC products, and supporting pharmacy services. Training will be provided to progress into a Healthcare Counter Assistant role.

Starting pay is up to £12.71 per hour, with increases on successful completion of the training course. Hours are Thursday and Friday, 9am-6:30pm with a one-hour unpaid break, in a small friendly team at a

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients in a friendly, caring, and professional manner.
• Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate support on OTC medicines and general health matters.
• Selling OTC medicines and pharmacy products following till processes.
• Identifying questions to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
• Receiving and handing out prescriptions under supervision.
• Collecting prescription charges and ensuring accuracy.
• Ordering stock and minimising wastage.
• Maintaining clean, attractive product displays and promotional updates.
• Completing housekeeping duties to keep front and back areas tidy.
• Processing invoices and pharmacy paperwork on time.
• Supporting delivery of pharmacy services after training.
