Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant (Distribution) to join our team. The role involves supplying stock medicines and pharmacy-supplied items to wards and departments, receiving goods, and replenishing distribution stocks in the automated dispensing system.

You will process stock requests from wards using EPIC, generate picking lists, assemble and pack medicine orders, and ensure accurate delivery to the designated destinations, including a bulk IV fluids

Responsabilidades

Receive goods delivered to the pharmacy department and replenish stocks.
Process stock requests from wards in EPIC and generate a picking list.
Select items required and assemble medicine orders matching requests.
Pack and address completed medicine orders for transportation to the correct destination.
Provide bulk IV fluids top-up service to designated wards and departments; check stock levels.

We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant (Distribution) to join our team. Our Pharmacy Assistant (Distribution) will provide stock medicines and other pharmacy-supplied items to wards and departments. You will receive goods delivered to the pharmacy department, including bulk IV fluids and to replenish stocks of medicines and other items held indistribution and in theautomateddispensingsystem.Main duties of the job

To work as part of the DistributionTeamto: -
Process stock requests from wards in EPIC(computer system)and generate a picking list
pick itemsrequiredand assemble medicine orders ensuring that the items picked match those items requested
pack and address completed medicine orders for transportation / distribution to the correct destination
To provide, as required, a bulk IV fluids 'top-up' service todesignatedwards and departments. Check stock levels against an agreed list and ensure efficient delivery of the required stock.
