Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and colleagues, dispensing prescriptions and advising patients as you train for the NVQ2 dispenser programme.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; this is an in-store role with progression into further pharmacy qualifications and leadership opportunities within Boots.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required and full training will be provided.
• You will begin training for the Dispenser NVQ2 alongside in-store pharmacy duties.
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Adviser NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Help manage patient prescriptions and promote adherence and reduce waste.
