Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacist and healthcare professionals, dispensing prescriptions and providing medicines advice to patients.

You will work within the store's healthcare department, build relationships with customers, ensure safe sale of medicines, and follow SOPs to support compliant dispensing. Training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or currently working towards and have completed first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work; not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medicine adherence.
