Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the Pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, provide medicines advice and help patients manage their health with care and accuracy.

You will work within the healthcare department, following SOPs and safety standards while building trusted relationships with customers and supporting adherence and safe medicine use.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work; not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing with safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
