Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions and provide patient guidance to help ensure safe medicine use.

Based in-store across the UK, with training and career development opportunities; NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or first year of MPharm) and UK right-to-work required; remote applicants are not considered.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor completed (or equivalent) or first year of MPharm completed.
• UK right to work in the UK; no sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients and refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs for safe, legal dispensing of prescriptions.

Education

NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or equivalent / MPharm year 1
