Job summary

Boots in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist to ensure safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions and health services.

In-store you’ll greet customers, dispense prescriptions, provide medicines advice and refer queries to the Pharmacist, while following SOPs to support patient safety. This role offers training and career development, including paths to Pharmacy Technician or store leadership.

Qualifications

• :Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or pursuing and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• :Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience in community pharmacy would be great.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines advice and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage repeats and medicines to promote adherence.
