Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, ensuring safe supply of medicines, and delivering high-quality patient care in a busy community setting.

You will build relationships with patients, advise on medicines, follow SOPs, and help manage repeats while minimising waste. UK right to work is required; role is in-store in the UK with London salary variations.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy would be great.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste.
