Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store across the UK. You will support the Pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions, provide patient care and advice, and help ensure safe, compliant medicines management.

In this role you will work within the healthcare department, build relationships with customers, follow SOPs, and pursue development opportunities including Pharmacy Technician training. UK right to work is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or current progress with the first year of MPharm completed.
• Current UK right to work; sponsorship is not provided.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe medicine supply and accurate labeling.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries appropriately.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Assist in improving patient adherence and reduce waste with reliable repeats.
