Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the Pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and supporting safe, legal dispensing within our store environment.

Role focuses on patient care, accurate medicine handling, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. UK right-to-work is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or be on track to complete first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer questions to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence.
