Job summary

Polar Speed, a UPS company, operates a Homecare pharmacy delivering temperature-sensitive medicines across the UK. Based at Polarspeed Distribution Ltd, Site 1, Leighton Buzzard, the Dispensary Assistant role offers 37.5 hours per week with split shifts.

You will label and dispense prescriptions, maintain patient medication records, and support the dispensary to ensure accuracy and compliance. NVQ Level 2 Dispensary qualification desired but in-house training is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Dispensary qualification desired but not essential as full in house training will be given.
• Therapy knowledge for homecare therapies may be required or beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Label and dispense prescriptions
• Maintain accurate patient medication records
• Accurate dispensing of homecare prescriptions in line with guidance
• Management of dispensary stationery and general dispensary standards
• Compliance with stock management
• Fridge temperature management
• Support smooth running of the dispensary
