Job summary

Asda Eastgate Pharmacy is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Pharmacy Colleague for a part‑time, permanent role. You’ll work 18 hours per week with weekend shifts, supporting the pharmacist and handling prescriptions in a high‑volume store.

Training will progress you from Medicine Counter Assistant to Dispensing Assistant within 6 months, with strong emphasis on customer care, health services, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• Friendliness and good communication with customers.
• Willingness to develop through training and accreditation.
• Capacity to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Assist Pharmacist with patient services and records.
• Promote and explain pharmacy services (Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors surgery and deliver to store for collection.
