Job summary

Asda Morley is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team. The role involves assembling and processing prescriptions, delivering excellent customer care, and promoting services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.

You will train toward becoming a Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, then progress toward a Dispensing Assistant role. Shift patterns are days only, with weekend work a requirement.

• You love problem solving and you're passionate about helping people and care about giving customers a great healthcare experience, helping them find what they need and having a chat along the way.

Responsibilities

• Asda Pharmacy Colleague will assemble and process prescriptions with accuracy.
• Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services like Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Support the Pharmacist with delivery and record-keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation, etc.).
• Collect customers' prescriptions from GP surgeries and bring them to the store for collection.
