Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Morley is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our busy in-store pharmacy. You'll assist with prescription processing, help customers with health questions, and contribute to a welcoming, friendly shopping experience.

This part-time role offers 18.5 hours per week on day shifts, requires an enhanced safeguarding check, weekend availability, and a clear path to becoming a Medicine Counter Assistant within six months and then a Dispensing Assistant.

Qualifications

• Enhanced safeguarding check required.
• Weekend working is a requirement of the role.
• Willing to complete an accredited training to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months.
• Career progression to Dispensing Assistant after initial training.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Drive awareness of in-store pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews, etc.).
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping (blood pressure checks, etc.).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and bring to the store for collection.
• Deliver friendly, helpful service to customers and maintain standards.
