Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. in Morley near Leeds is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team on a part-time basis. You will help assemble and process prescriptions, engage with customers, and support the Pharmacist with services. Training will begin to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress toward a Dispensing Assistant role.

You will work with the team in a busy store environment, with a focus on accuracy, customer care and compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• Friendliness, organisation and willingness to engage with customers.
• Good PC skills and accuracy in handling prescriptions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote in-store pharmacy services (Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Assist Pharmacist with patient services (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation programmes).
• Collect prescriptions from GP surgeries and bring to store, while following SOPs.
