Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. in Sheffield Chaucer Road is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to work part-time (Afternoons), 16.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis.

The role involves assisting with prescription assembly and processing, helping customers with health queries, and supporting the pharmacy team. You will complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress toward a Dispensing Assistant role, while following SOPs and delivering warm, confident service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to undertake accredited training courses.
• Ability to work with team in a busy retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Collect prescriptions from doctor's surgery and bring to store.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and deliver friendly customer care.
