Job summary

Asda Glasshoughton Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Colleague to join our part-time team (20 hours a week) with afternoon shifts. You will assist with processing prescriptions, help customers find the right products, and support the pharmacist while learning through accredited training to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months.

Our stores operate 24/7, weekend work is required, and you’ll complete safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Must pass enhanced safeguarding check.
• Weekend working is required; must be flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and customer service.
• Support the Pharmacist and maintain accurate records.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors and prepare for collection.
• Promote in-store pharmacy services (e.g., collection service, Medicines Use Reviews).
