Job summary

Asda Boldon stores are recruiting a Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team. This part-time, permanent role involves day shifts, weekend work, and serving customers with warmth while accurately assembling and processing prescriptions.

You will support the Pharmacist, promote pharmacy services, and complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, with potential progression to a Dispensing Assistant.

Qualifications

• To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
• Flexible shift patterns with weekend work required.
• You will assemble and process prescriptions and support pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Promote and explain extra pharmacy services (Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Collect prescriptions from doctor surgeries and bring to store for collection.
