Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Radcliffe is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Colleague to join our store pharmacies. You will assist customers, handle prescriptions, and support the Pharmacist while learning to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months. This role requires flexibility for weekend shifts and a safeguarding check.

You'll develop strong customer service, gain experience with in-store health services, and contribute to a warm, helpful pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service and handling health queries.
• Willingness to complete accredited Pharmacy training within 6 months.
• Ability to manage prescriptions and use store systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote extra pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support the Pharmacist and maintain patient service records.
• Collect prescriptions from GP surgeries and bring them to the store.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent, safe service.
