Job summary

ASDA in Sheffield Chaucer Road is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague for part-time, permanent work in our in-store pharmacy. The role involves afternoon shifts, 16.5 hours per week, and duties include assembling prescriptions and supporting pharmacist services.

Applicants should be friendly, organised, and capable of handling customer interactions while following strict SOPs. Training will progress from Medicine Counter Assistant towards dispensing roles as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
• Weekend working is a requirement of the role and some flexibility with work pattern may be needed.
• You will spend time accurately assembling and processing prescriptions.
• You will support the Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Assist with patient services and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Collect prescriptions from doctor's surgery and bring them to the store for collection.
