Job summary

Caithness General Hospital in Wick is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant-Porter to join the Pharmacy Department on a full-time permanent basis (36 hours). You will train through a structured programme, work closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists, and rotate to cover late openings and public holidays.

The role requires motivation, good communication, teamwork, and a commitment to completing the training.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 National 4 qualifications (or SCQF equivalent) including English, Maths and Science.
• Structured training programme to meet the General Pharmaceutical Council minimum training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
• Participate in departmental rotas for late opening and public holidays.
• Train through a structured programme and complete the training.
