Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking Pharmacy Stores support staff to assist with assembly of medicine orders, stock maintenance, and reception duties at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and nearby sites. No pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

You will work 08:00–18:00 Monday to Friday with weekend/public holiday rota, and must be willing to learn, be enthusiastic and a good team player, with ability to lift and handle medicines.

Qualifications

• No pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Must be enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working and team-oriented.
• Able to lift and handle medicines including infusion boxes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medicine orders and over-label medicines.
• Receive goods from suppliers and maintain stock.
• Prepare ward orders and ward top-ups.
• Answer phone, perform computer work and reception duties.
