Job summary

Asda in Stockton seeks a friendly Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team. The role is part-time (22 hours per week) with afternoons shifts, and weekend work is required.

You’ll assist with patient services, assemble and process prescriptions, and support the Pharmacist while following SOPs. On-the-job training will help you progress toward Medicines Counter Assistant and then Dispensing Assistant within six months, with accredited courses provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass enhanced safeguarding check.
• Weekend working is a requirement of the role.
• Will complete accredited course to become Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Collect prescriptions from doctor surgeries and bring to store for collection.
• Promote pharmacy services (Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, etc).
