Job summary

ASDA Stores Ltd in Dunstable is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll help assemble and process prescriptions, assist customers with health questions and promote in-store pharmacy services.

This role requires weekend availability, a safeguarding check, and a path to accredited training to become Medicines Counter Assistant within 6 months, with progression toward dispensing duties.

Qualifications

• Be friendly and highly organised.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Able to communicate well with customers and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Assist Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping.
• Promote services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries when required.
• Support customers with health queries and direct to suitable products.
