Job description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy is currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Pontefract hospital pharmacy. You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals, and Trust colleagues.

Duties will include:

1. Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
2. Stock ordering and management
3. Invoicing and financing deliveries
4. All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy

Minimum Requirements:

1. NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
2. Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
3. Understanding of confidentiality
4. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
5. Ability to work as part of a team

Hours & Working Pattern:

Total Hours Contracted: 30
Working Pattern: Negotiable
Monday: 8 hours
Wednesday: 8 hours
Friday: 8 hours
Saturday: 3 hours
