Job description

The successful candidate will be assisting in the dispensing of medication and gaining key skills in assisting customers at the counter. If you are passionate about pursuing a career in the pharmacy sector, this role offers a fantastic opportunity with great potential.

Main duties include:

1. Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical stock
2. Receiving prescriptions and processing prescription orders
3. Compounding blister packs
4. Dispensing medications once trained
5. Labelling prescriptions accurately
6. Communicating with customers via phone and face-to-face
7. Disposing of medicines safely and correctly
8. Managing stock levels, replenishing supplies, and cleaning sales areas
9. Receiving incoming supplies, verifying quantities, and informing supervisors of stock needs and shortages
10. Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met
11. Utilising specialist product knowledge when required
12. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
13. Completing mandatory training as required
14. Performing other duties within the reasonable scope of the role
