Day Lewis is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. If successful, this role will support your development and future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The initial stage involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on your previous pharmacy experience, you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course, which can take between 3-6 months.

Our vision is to develop the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians. We support training and course reimbursement. The BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course tailored to meet the needs of learners and pharmacies, especially as the responsibilities and professional recognition of pharmacy technicians grow.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at the Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in providing advanced and enhanced services.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers excellent customer service and operates effectively according to company policies and procedures.
2. Assist on the front counter, welcoming and supporting patients.
3. Be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
4. Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to deliver effective, patient-friendly customer service.
5. Contribute to a family-owned chain that values hard work by rewarding, recognizing, and empowering staff.
