Job Description:

Mediplacements is seeking an experienced Senior Registration Assessment Officer to work remotely in a permanent role within the GPhC. The position offers a salary of £29,000 per annum, part-time (22 hours/week), with an immediate start preferred.

Job purpose: Apply pharmacy knowledge and assessment experience to develop and review content for the registration assessment question bank, contribute to its ongoing development and quality assurance, and lead on developing internal policies and procedures. Provide project management and support for various assessment panels.

Main accountabilities:

• Develop and review registration assessment materials, maintain knowledge of UK pharmacy practice, and train question writers.
• Manage the registration assessment question bank, including psychometric data systems.
• Organize meetings for assessment panels and produce agendas, minutes, and reports.
• Support assessment processes, including setting, moderating, and marking exams.
• Develop policies and guidance related to assessments.
• Project manage external contractors involved in assessment activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Support planning, risk management, and process reviews, deputize for the Assessment Manager as needed.
• Respond to data requests and maintain knowledge of equality legislation and reasonable adjustments.
• Manage reasonable adjustment processes and panels.
• Facilitate standard setting and question writing workshops.
• Support misconduct allegation management and convene relevant panels.
• Coordinate work with associates and partners, supporting recruitment and training.
