skills4group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Stafford to support daily pharmacy operations and customer service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

Key duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, helping with prescriptions, managing stock, and using pharmacy systems, all while maintaining safety and confidentiality in a busy community pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths and English desirable but training can be provided.
• No Maths/English Level 2 required? tests may be used to determine suitability for the course.

About the course

Brief Description

ST17 4AH We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
