Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Liverpool is recruiting a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn, working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

You will gain hands-on experience, handle prescriptions under supervision, manage stock, and contribute to patient care in a healthcare setting over roughly 15 months.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English required or provided via course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Completed Maths/English tests may be required if Level 2 not met.

About the course

Brief Description

L22 4QR We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
