Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and assist customers at the medicines counter.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSEs or equivalent; Maths and English desirable but not essential.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver good customer service.

MUST HAVE RETAIL/ CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries

Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)

Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records

Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality

Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Duration: Typically 15 months

Working Week

Monday to Sundays spread over 5 days ( 30 minute lunch)

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
