Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day operations in the pharmacy and assist customers at the medicines counter. The role includes completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

You will help with prescriptions under supervision, manage stock and records, and use pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience is required; the course runs alongside work.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 ( Maths and English desirable)
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship offered alongside job
• Basic IT skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries

Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)

Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records

Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality

Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
