Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service.

You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. You will assist with dispensing under supervision, manage stock and data records, and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries

Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)

Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records

Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality

Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Duration: Typically 15 months

Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning

Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours

Working Week

Hours betwen 9am-9pm (May include some weekends)

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
