Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice who will support day-to-day pharmacy operations and help customers while undertaking a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship. Training and full support are provided.
The role involves assisting with prescriptions, stock control, and using pharmacy systems in a busy environment. Typical working week is 33 hours over 4.5 days, with blended learning and on-the-job training.
As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
Duration: Typically 15 months
Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning
Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours

33 hours within opening hours of pharmacy split over 4.5 days
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
