Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in Cr0mlington. You will support day-to-day pharmacy duties while training towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training provided. Start date 22/10/2026 and working hours include weekdays and weekends to cover service needs.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 (Maths and English desirable).
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent tests may be required for course suitability.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Help with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
