Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Worthing to support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations and customer service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Key duties include helping customers at the counter, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, stock handling, and maintaining accurate records while upholding safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent are desirable.
• Willingness to learn and complete apprenticeship training.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service.
