Job summary

Find a Job Service is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and work closely with the team to ensure safe, efficient service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided.

Key duties include assisting customers, handling stock, processing prescriptions under supervision, and maintaining records. The role offers training and development with a 15-month duration and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English are desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic IT skills and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and answer queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety and confidentiality.
