Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Thornaby is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

Responsibilities include helping customers at the medicines counter, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, stock control and using pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or 4-9 preferred but not essential.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is not held, tests will determine suitability.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter with queries.
• Help with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
