Wells & Co. seeks an experienced Pharmacist to join our Hoyland, Barnsley pharmacy on the high street. The role supports NHS and private services and interacts closely with GP surgeries to deliver excellent patient care.

The pharmacy operates 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a small team and opportunities for career development. GPhC registration is required on start date; relocation benefits may apply.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines and provide patient care to the local community.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hoyland in Barnsley. This community pharmacy is commutable from Sheffield and is located on the high street. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery/health centre. How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 1800 items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, NHS & private services.
• It provides services to substance misuse patients and care homes.
• It dispenses 123 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9am-6pm Monday to Friday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of team of four qualified pharmacy dispensers and one pharmacy assistant.

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
