Job summary

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Edenfield Road in Rochdale.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Manchester and is located near the shopping centre. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including all NHS services, including flu Covid, MenB, Contraception and Pharmacy First.
• It provides services to 10 substance misuse patients.
• It dispenses 12 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8:30AM until 6:00PM, MONDAY – FRIDAYand 9:00AM - 12:30PM ON SATURDAYS. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of x2 Checkers, x2 Counter Staff and x4 Dispensers.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacyexperience for your patients and customers.

You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
