Well Pharmacy in Hoyland, Barnsley, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team and make a meaningful difference in patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MPharm, be GPhC registered on start date, and bring management experience. You’ll work 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a small team delivering Pharmacy First, NHS and private services while maintaining excellent patient support.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hoyland in Barnsley.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Sheffield and is located on the high street. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 1800 items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, NHS & private services.
• It provides services to substance misuse patients and care homes.
• It dispenses 123 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9am-6pm Monday to Friday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of team of four qualified pharmacy dispensers and one pharmacy assistant.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
