Job summary

Well Pharmacy in Skelmanthorpe is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our community team. You will help provide high-quality patient care, support NHS and private services, and work with a small team to meet the needs of the local community.

This role requires an MPharm degree and GPhC registration on start date, with relocation support options and a strong focus on professional development within a supportive network.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Skelmanthorpe.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Huddersfield or Barnsley. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 2,500 items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, NHS & private services.
• It provides services to substance misuse patients and care homes and it dispenses 40 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8:30-6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am-1pm. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a team of two full time members of staff and one trainee.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
