SJB Medical is recruiting a Functional Assessor based at one of our UK centres in Southampton. You will apply clinical judgement to conduct functional assessments and produce high-quality reports within standard working hours, with no night shifts or weekend work.

The role offers a structured career path, comprehensive training, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. You must be a registered healthcare professional with post-registration experience.

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.
• Have no current restrictions to practice.

Functional Assessor Salary: £40,000-£50,000. Location: Southampton. Additional pay & bonuses: Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract), One-off approval bonus of 5% of salary, Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance.

Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Part-time hours available.

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. What you'll need

• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
