Job summary

SJB Medical in the UK is seeking a Functional Assessor to perform clinical assessments at a Cambridge-based centre. You will apply your clinical judgement to produce clear, high-quality reports, working within a multidisciplinary team and adhering to governance standards.

The role offers regular office hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm), no night shifts or weekend work, with comprehensive training and clear career progression paths.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• At least 12 months post-registration experience in the last 5 years.
• No current restrictions to practice.

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work. You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments. What you'll need

• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
